The Nike VR Pro have more grooves than you would normally find on an iron and they are closer together and deeper than on other irons. These help to give you a consistent ball flight and spin. Indeed, The overall package is very impressive.

The X3X groove process creates more of these grooves than you would usually find and gives the exact shot-shaping performance that top players demand. First of all, the iron face is milled to make if perfectly flat which makes it perfect for pressing the grooves in to their exact specification. The milled face also help to give uniform ball compression. This helps with the flight of the ball which once again means more accurate and longer shots.

The irons have a very good feel to them and when you are taking your shot you know when you've hit the sweet spot and it's something that will soon be very common when you get used to them.
